Medical research technology is bringing very very interesting and amazing things to this table. A team of researchers from the school of engineering of Singapore's republic polytechnic created an iPhone app that will allow a smartphone to actually read and interpret signals from the users brain to send commands to the chair telling it to move forward backwards right or left. Of course to use the app you need a special headset that will convert brain waves to electrical signals and send them to the phone.
