This system was exhibited at CEATEC JAPAN 2010. Digital holography is said to be the ultimate 3D technology, as it doesn't need 3D glasses or strain the eyes, it has high picture quality, and it faithfully reproduces depth. However, it also has some technical problems: the viewing angle is narrow and the 3D pictures are small. So the big issue with digital holography is that the 3D pictures are difficult to view.
