A company in Pensacola, Florida has taken matter into its own hands regarding the oil spill. John Galerneau and his company developed an oil trap which he wants to use to help clean up the Horizon spill. It works by setting up booms, and instead of surrounding the oil, it's designed to let the oil flow into traps that don't have to be manned, then the oil can later be removed.
